For those have no clue what to do here is some steps step (1) download all the files on this page. Step (2) after extract the files install the game from setup. You're using old saves. The data the saves reference has shifted with each revision of the patch. While it may not be immediately apparently, that shift can cause crashes chapters, or even games later.

Have you not been here for the past day? The reason there's even revision threads is because they've been working on fixing the patch for the past couple days since the initial release to fix the initial errors. Unless you would of course prefer to have the first buggy version instead of this fix. It's not like it takes that long to skip through everything anyways.

I erased all save files previous to starting the process to install the patch, but after I changed the SoundPackSEVo and SoundPackSEVo.lst files for the japanese ones my save folder had a file called SAVE._LCS, but it's not a save file, I've already checked and I have nothing saved in the game. Performing Chouun's 9th homebase event is whats responsible for the error with the savefile. Avoid triggering her in homebase for 2 turns and it should be fine after that.
