Rust would be impossible, as it is Steam dependent, meaning that it cannot run without Steam. However, there are some people who are able to crack games where they can run without Steam, such as GameMaster#8-Bit who cracked Broforce to work without Steam.

The problem with that is the method used to crack games to work with Steam disables online functions for that game just like almost every other crack does, too. And, seeing that Rust is online only, it would simply be impossible. I am pretty sure that you can play by yourself, but that would be extremely boring and no one has bothered to crack it.

This was an important issue and I am glad 2K finally fixed this. Basically thanks to maximuspop for putting pressure to Ronnie on twitter for the last several months, I think that helped a lot! And as a result they decided to take the matter seriously and make sure it's fixed for 2K13.

It they quit, they should have a L hung on their record. I don't agree with this. If a game is lagging bad you should be able to quit without getting an L.

There should be a grace period before you get tagged with an L. Fifa does this.

I then have to quit and reconnect.

Seriously, why does 2k13 not allow choice of person you want to play with and even choice of teams in team match up? This is ridiculous. Why can't there be dedicated servers where people with low ping get matched up? It's not a programming decision, it's an accounting/marketing department decision. They're trying to force people onto the console platforms. Consoles suck. You can't mod anything.

Go to comissioner tools and simply reset the games you've played so far. If only you could load the sliders from a file and not needing to go through every single slider and fixing it manually.
