Like Comment by Zee — August 15, 2012 @. Last week, I configured Mikrotik 5.18 with pppoe server and User Manager at a local cable.network environment, and its working great. User Manager is running great, he have now more then 350 customers database and its running OK, showing all the users, no information is missing. I can confirm that the 5.18 ver user manager is working good. Try rebuilding DB via userman maintenance menu. I have configured a script that runs twice a day, and it rebuilds DB, which results in updated information shown at the user status.

Integration of 3.3 with 5.18 is not possible IMO. Also ver 3.30 UM have the bug of simultaneous usage of ppp users, means single ID can be used at multiple computers simultaneously.It was corrected after 4.17 version.

But still I must state that the USERMAN solution is not a reliable one, You cant rely on it on a large/production server. But after all its free package come along with the mikrotik, so dont expect much from it, IMO its suitable for SOHO.
