Its especially her lyrics that make it so amazing. Halsey manages to create a scenery in your head that makes it feel as if you know exactly what she's talking about. Thats not just music. I wish the explicit sticker had shown up on my computer Now that I'm coming back to review this I see that on my phone it states explicit. And really this was.

I'm no prude but I prefer music that's not shouting profanity every two seconds. If I wanted that I could get that free album from Miley Cyrus- there's about as many references about smoking dubies here too, always classy to have an entire song swing around.- I listened to two of her songs beforehand and thought they were good. They were the only worthwhile ones on the ones on the album. Keep it in mind. Her album is full of lyrics which flow off her lips with all the passion, anger, idealism, scars and hubris of untamed youth.

The lyrics convey a quality of self truth which come from experiences not easily endured yet universal to coming of age. Certainly the explicit language is there, but I find it genuine and not forced. 4.
