Neferbeth • At the end of September, a new girl named Elizabeth Chung moves into the Casa Rosada—which is the apartment building where both Melanie and April live. • Elizabeth is nine and has two younger sisters. April doesn't think that they'll become friends because she and Melanie are both eleven, and nine feels really young to her. (Pretending you're a movie star makes age differences seem bigger, apparently.) • When April goes to visit Melanie's apartment, Melanie has already heard about Elizabeth and is planning on inviting her to play with them.

In an old California/Spangish apartment (Casa Rosada). Why are Melanie's paper dolls different from normal paper dolls? She uses them as a record for a game. Why is Marshall's octopus called Security? His dad named him that/he takes it everywhere. What does April's mother do for a living? She is a movie star/vocalist.

She thinks that if Elizabeth can keep a secret, they can let her join the Egypt Game. • April doesn't want to. • Still, the girls go to visit the Chungs like they're supposed to. They both immediately like Elizabeth. They feel protective of her and walk her to her classroom when she goes to school.

• As they're looking at her, April realizes that Elizabeth looks like Nefertiti. She tells Melanie, and they decide to let Elizabeth in on the Egypt Game. Isn't that nice?

• Melanie invites April to dinner. April acts all Hollywood on them. This is when they first meet. They start playing and discover, what is now called Egypt. It is now Halloween and April, Melanie, Elizabeth and Marshall dress up as Egypt people from the Egypt game. Ken and Toby follow the Egyptians into Egypt and are now playing.

• Elizabeth's parakeet died and they are trying to bring him back to life, so they have a ceremony of the dead. Hindi Serial Shararat Episode 172 on this page. Later they make up a oracle and write questions on a piece of paper and get answers back from the oracle. Then everyone goes home and April gets a letter from her mom. • April watches Marshall and tries to finish her homework, while Marshall's parents are out, but she forgets her math book at the Egypt game, so she thinks. So then she decides to go to the Egypt game, but Marshall wants to go. Marshall walks out the front door and waits for April. They get to the Egypt game and the book is not there, so then they decide to leave, but someone grabs April and the professor yells help. • April and the gang go to the professor's antique store and April tells the professor thank you for yelling help.

The professor tells them a story and gives them keys to his backyard.
